Since 1988, Michael C. Berry, CPA, has been providing tax and accounting services to clients in Bainbridge Island, Kitsap County, Washington, to various clients across the United States and to US citizens living abroad. Services range from accounting assistance and bookkeeping, payroll and tax return preparation, representation in Internal Revenue Service matters and State tax matters, litigation support, accounting software especially QuickBooks, and financial planning. His background in real estate, as a licensed real estate broker in Oklahoma and Washington, has added to his expertise in structuring real estate transactions for both income tax and estate planning purposes. He specializes in counseling entrepreneurial businesses, professional practices, and well established businesses including manufacturing, farming and ranching, minerals and extractive industries, automobile dealers, construction, real estate development, retail, wholesale, trades, fishermen, not-for-profit organizations, intellectual property, and succession planning for owner-managed businesses. He has experience preparing federal and state income and estate tax returns. He has experience in business valuations. He has worked with all ranges of the wealth spectrum. If you engage Michael C. Secondary Education at Middlesex School in Concord, Massachusetts and Casady School in Oklahoma City. College at the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Chemistry. Graduate school at the University of Oklahoma in Accounting and Business Law. Worked at Reserve Oil and Gas in the accounting department in January 1970. Later, worked at Arthur Anderson & Co. in the tax department of the Oklahoma City office during the late 1970's and early 1980's. Self-employed in Oklahoma City during the early 1980's and moved to Bainbridge Island, Washington in late 1987 and started his CPA sole proprietorship practice in 1988. He became a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor in 2001, and has certifications in QuickBooks Point of Sale which he has used with retail clients. Additionally, he has been a licensed real estate agent since 1976 and a real estate broker since 1980 in Oklahoma and since 1988 in Washington.

Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Washington Society of CPA's, and the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce.
